Thomas Telford

Drove out to Craigellachie this morning to have a look at Craigellachie Bridge which was designed and built by Thomas Telford in 1814. Have driven past this bridge so many times on our way down south but this is the first time we have stopped.

We then went for a walk along the River Fiddich where the boys did their usual of collecting and playing with sticks!!

Followed by a picnic of hot chocolate and fruit cake - yum!!

We took John's Mum and Dad there last year as Samuel had to learn all about it as a school project. It's one of those place you drive past but never stop at!!
