Coffee time

A quick post to show you the LO I did for subject one on the Overlooked blog - theres a link over on the right. The first challenge was to photograph your favourite coffee mug - maybe a strange request but lots of fun.

The next challenge is to photograph something you collect - mmmmm - what to choose??

Cold winter evenings

What better on a cold winter evening to stay nice and warm indoors and scrap. Have been trying to keep up to date with some of the challenges over on UKS - have done this weeks challenge which is quite pink and girly (so not me!) using this months GoGo kit using more of the MM Noteworthy papers.

A pic of the card I made for my mums birthday earlier in the month - made using a Magnolia stamp from my very local Funky Kits (using my good friend Sarahs Idea!)

Have just taken deliver of my first Scrapagogo Greetings kit and it has fully lived up to my expectations - it is gorgeous. Watch out for more cards as I'm really into it at the mo.

Aberdeen crop

It was the monthly Aberdeen crop yesterday and I think a good time was had by all - its great to put faces to the UKS names.

I managed to make a start on my christmas pressies for grandparents - they will be a work in progress throughout the year. I also managed to do my scraplift challenge - I lifted the very talented Sugar Almond over on UKS - I haven't given it justice but I like the way it has turned out.

Scrapagogo

I am loving this months Scrapagogo kit - full of scruumy papers and embellishments. Have done two LOs so far and even though I thought the papers were a bit of the feminine side I think they work well with photos of the boys.

Centre Parcs

The boys had a whale of a time at Centre Parcs in the Lake District - even though the weather was pants!!

Our villa was upgraded to a VIP one which was fab - daily maid service, open fire and a whirlpool bath. It was bigger than our own house.

Swimming everyday - lots of slides and shutes - and can't believe we were swimming outdoors in January - was certainly bracing!!

The boys tried archery, tennis, assault course and a high wire tree top trail.

We did leave the centre and go to Keswick, Ambleside and Windermere - just a shame the weather wasn't good enough to do some walking.

Holiday tomorrow

Should have gone to bed ages ago - but have just finished a LO. This is for the 3rd of Elsie Flannigans challenges and is a LO of Sam at Froggatt Edge back in October.

Alarm set for 5.15am!!

Happy birthday for tomorrow Mum.

Nearly holiday time

Boys are starting to get excited now. Had a phone call from Centre parcs this afternoon to say the boiler had broken in our villa - and as it can't be fixed thay are having to move us to another one. Luckily for us it will be an upgrade to a VIP Executive villa - a 2 storey 3 bedrooms with a hydrobath! I'm not going to complain!!

Have been busy using up an old Scrapagogo kit from last year - the scrummy flocked and embossed papers from Heidi Grace. Managed to scrap some of my older photos. Am hoping to take lots and lots of photos on our trip to the Lake District.

A couple more.

I am really on a roll at the moment with my scrapping - here are a couple more I have done recently.

Really must go to bed as I start my new job tomorrow.

I am beautiful

Not a phrase I have often said! This is a LO that I finshed today for the 365 Day challenge over on UKS - we had to include our favourite quote from the week and include our goals for 2008. Made a nice change to scrap in pink!!

Duffus Castle

It was such a lovely day I thought I would get the boys out into the fresh air and get rid of some of their excess energy. We ended up at Duffus Castle - the boys love running up and down the slopes. Took the camera (of course) and managed to snap about 30 half decent photos of the two of them.

Mojo returns

Have been a busy little bee scrapping wise over the past couple of days. I think it has something to do with all the different chalenges that I have signed up for over on UKS. I am doing a 365 day journal, Elsie Flannigans 52 challenges, A-Z journal of me and mine and of course the S.A.D. (Stash Addicted Dieters!) challenges. Have done 5 LOs already this year.

Hoping for some snow tomorrow.

Happy New Year

Happy new year to my friends and family - not forgetting all my new cyber pals over on UKS.

Had a few friends round last night to see in the new year - so feeling a tad delicate today. The boys really behaved themselves - with Callum finally going to bed at 2.30am!!

Have done my first LO of 2008 - for a challenge over on UKS. Was supposed to be on a self imposed stash diet but have fallen at the first hurdle! It was Grab It day over on Scrapagogo - so I have already blown £10 of my £25 monthly budget on the very first day!! Really pleased with how the LO turned out - and even though I say so myself I think it is one of my better ones.

Need to get myself organised as I think I have signed up for too many challenges over on UKS - am doing the stash diet challenge, A-Z craft journal and a 365 day journal. All seemed like a good idea at the time!!
