It's Monday. What Are you Reading?

It is all about the electronic gadgets this week.

I am reading A Time for Living by Ruth Saberton which is the second installment in the Polwenna Bay series. I was lucky enough to receive a copy of the book from the author herself.

I also resurrected by sons Nook last week. I bought it for him to try and encourage his reading - it had limited success at first and was then cast aside for the XBox.. I charged it back up and found on it Stephen Gerrards autobiography and low and behold he has started to read it slowly.

My local library offers a limited e book service but it doesn't support the Kindle. But I can use it with the Nook. So I have downloaded Set Me Free by Daniela Sacerdoti - I have since found out this is the 3rd in the Glen Avich series but it doesn't seem like you need to have read the first 2.

Margherita’s marriage is slowly falling apart. Getting pregnant after trying for so long may have been a wonderful surprise for her, but for her husband it was the last straw. When she needs him most, she realises he’s just not there for her.

Needing time away to figure out where their marriage is going, Margherita decides to leave London and spend the summer in Glen Avich, to help out in her mum’s new coffee shop. She needs to reconnect with her adopted daughter Lara and her young son and sort out her life. But Glen Avich can have a strange effect on people, and when she and Lara start working for Torcuil Ramsay at a rundown local estate, everything begins to change. Margherita finds her heart awakened in a way she never thought possible and Lara begins a new friendship with a mysterious local boy, Mal, which makes her mother feel increasingly uneasy.

And just when Margherita is finally beginning to discover what she really wants, she finds out how quickly things can change and how hard it can be to make brave choices.

Good morning - things still a bit hectic here - getting ready for back to school tomorrow for one - and starting uni in 3 weeks for the other!!

I am reading The Turning Point by Freya North. I love this author and have heard lots of great things about this book - one is to have a tissue or 2 handy near the end.

Everyone deserves a new beginning. But sometimes fate isn’t on your side…

On Saturday 8th August I crossed something off my bucket list - I went to see Wales play rugby at the The Millennium Stadium.

I finished the 3rd part in the Ivy Lane series last night by Cathy Bramley - I am loving this series and will be sad when I come to the end. But I still have the Appleby Farm and Wickham Hall series to read.
