Finally the sunflowers that Sam planted have come out in flower - one of the few flowers that are in our garden.
I'm not much of a gardener but then we have always lived in married quarters so have never felt the need to spend time and money on something that isn't mine. But all that will change when we move - I have plans!!!!

The sunflowers look gorgeous. We have an old lady who plants hundreds of sunflowers after her husband died to remember him by as he also used to love growing sunflowers. Its such a lovely site when they all appear. What I didn't realise was there were many many different varities too.
They're gorgeous. We're still waiting for ours to flower.
