Blackberry picking

Cal and I went out the other evening to see if the blackberries were ripe on our cycle route - we had spotted them the other week but they were still mainly red.

Cal had fun playing army in amongst the hay bales and to be honest I think he ate more blackberries than he actually put in the tub!

We found some elderberries too - can remember Mum making elderberry wine. And thought the colours of the yew berries were gorgeous - had never seen them when they were pink before.
