My Month In Books - January

 The start of a new year. But on the face of it not much difference from last year. One thing I am grateful for is books and my love of reading. Gives me a place to escape to even if just for a short while. To immerse myself in a book and to escape the reality of life around me.

This month I read 8 books. Many were just OK I have to say except for the 2 non fiction ones. I thoroughly enjoyed those 2. Maybe it was because I had watched the corresponding TV programmes so could hear the authors in my head whilst I read. I have to say I binge watched The Yorkshire Shepherdess on Channel 4 during lockdown.

Going to try and read a bit more non fiction this year as it's not something that I read much off.
