My scrummy Doodlebug "sugar coated" glitter - 12 delicious colours. But too nice to actually use - like many other things in my craft room!!

Our Space - Pink
I am really not a pink girlie girl and will usually avoid pink at all costs (including when I was trying to upgrade my phone I had to tell the chap that I didn't mind what phone it was as long as it wasn't pink!)
But when the weather gets warmer I do like to paint my toenails (have no finger nails to speak of so no point bothering with them!) and the brighter the colour the better. I bought this one when I did a local car boot sale and the lady in the car next to me used to be a Virgin Vie demonstrator and was selling off all her stock. Not sure I actually made much profit from that car boot sale in the end!!!

Our Space - Orange
Not played along with Our Space for absolutely ages - and seeing Brenda's orange prompted me to capture some orange around my house.
Now this isn't actually very hard as it happens to be Sam's favourite colour (although he now draws the line at wearing anything orange!) So he has an orange bedside lamp against an orange bedroom wall!!!

Our Space - Open
An open book.
I am a right bookworm and have always got a book on the go. My current book is The Legacy by Katherine Webb which was one of the TV Book Club selections back in the summer.

In the depths of a harsh winter, following the death of their grandmother, Erica Calcott and her sister Beth return to Storton Manor, a grand and imposing Wiltshire house where they spent their summer holidays as children. When Erica begins to sort through her grandmother's belongings, she is flooded with memories of her childhood - and of her cousin, Henry, whose disappearance from the manor tore the family apart. Erica sets out to discover what happened to Henry, so that the past can be laid to rest, and her sister, Beth, might finally find some peace. Gradually, as Erica begins to sift through remnants of the past, a secret family history emerges; one that stretches all the way back to turn-of-the-century America, to a beautiful society heiress and a haunting, savage land. As past and present converge, Erica and Beth must come to terms with two terrible acts of betrayal - and the heart-breaking legacy left behind. THE LEGACY is an unforgettable, deeply satisfying story that will stay with you long after the last page has been turned.
And I can't put it down - I love the way the story jumps from present day and the big old house and the wild west in the early 1900's.
It is also this months choice over on the UKS Book Club and there are a few of us reading it at the same time - with some discussion on the site too.

Our Space - Chart
This chart plays an important part in family life in this household - it is the timetable for Sam's many kickboxing classes.
He is there virtually every weekday night and most Saturday and Sunday mornings - and mealtimes are usually geared around the times of his classes. But he puts in so much effort and trains for over 10 hours every week - and on Saturday he is grading again. This time it id for his first star on his black belt (as he has been a black belt for 12 months now and has to get so many stars on his belt before he is 16 so he can go for his adult black belt.)
And then we have the world kickboxing championships to look forward to next month - and we have everything crossed for him and the rest of the team.

Our Space - Screen
Prompts for 13-19 September
Mon - Screen
Tue - Chart
Wed - Heavenly
Thurs - Open
Fri - Grey
Sat - Saturday Free 4 All (whatever you'd like to photograph)
Sun - SOS (Show off Sunday)
My trusty old mobile phone.
I would love something a bit more fancy (like an iphone although I keep hearing of all the problems people have with them) but to be honest I don't think I could spend all that money on just a phone. Especially as this one has been dropped more times than I care to remember and spends 90& of its life rattling around in the bottom of my rucksack!!

In fact I didn't even choose this phone - Andy did. I really wasn't bothered what it was - as long as it wasn't pink!!

Our Space - Eye
I have just revealed my guilty viewing habits! But unlike some I am not ashamed to admit to watching the most trashiest of TV programmes. I also love X Factor after only watching it for the first time last year - I think it is because it is a programme which the whole family (although I suspect Andy would strongly disagree!) can watch and enjoy. But I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here is my favourite of this sort of show.
The one show I just cannot bring myself to watch - and I would like to - is Strictly Come Dancing. I cannot abide the toe curlingly awful Bruce Forsyth - he really makes me cringe and the BBC should pension him off.
