Ok, so back to normal prompts ... but I think you'll all still hate me today! When the prompts were planned, I imagined we'd be in the depths of a glorious summer by now, and today's word is ...
sunshine
So if you can't manage actual sunshine today (tis raining here - what's new!) take a snap of something that brings sunshine into your life!
Happy Friday!
When I saw today's prompt this morning it was pouring down with rain and I has no clue what to take a photo of. Roll forward to this afternoon and by the time we got home from school/work the sun had come out, the birds were singing and there were plenty of bees buzzing around the clematis (which is smelling wonderful at the moment.)
We even had some blue skies.
An because I am missing taking photos of Kermit - here is is enjoying that Friday feeling!!

173/365+1 : same ... But Different # 7
After yesterdays fun and games at the football tournament I put Kermit to work.
He loaded the washing machine - lots of lovely dirty football kit.
A new broom and all that - well a dustpan and brush!
Naughty Kermit thought the hoover was some sort of ride on toy.
So we had to teach him a lesson!
For an amphibious creature Kermit didn't really like getting his hands wet - but there were no marigolds to fit him!
Finally - the ironing.
Today was the last day in photos for Kermit - not sure who enjoyed it more - me or him!! All I know is that I have had some very strange looks from folk when I have taken Kermit out in public - and have embarrassed Callum on more than one occasion!!

A morning cuddle with Callum before he set off for his transition day at high school - don't know who was more nervous - me or Callum!
Chilling out after school by watching some telly.
Then it was off to a small local village called Dallas for a football tournament with Callum. We had to be at school by 5pm and didn't get home till 10pm.
Well done to the C team for getting through to the quarter finals and so chuffed Callum scored 2 goals - and boo hiss to all the midgies who ate me alive. Kermit watched the action from the touchline.
He enjoyed a burger at half time.
Had a go on the climbing wall in the school playground.
Introduced himself to the chickens in a neighbouring field!!

Today Kermit had an adventure and went on a train for the first time.
He got himself a ticket.
Spent some time reading his Kindle (As The Pig Turns by M C Beaton - he managed to read half the book!)
A visit to the orthodontist for Callum to get all his brace tightened up. The orthodontist is really pleased with his teeth and how they are all moving as the should and didn't seem worried that half the wires had come detached over the past couple of weeks. A bit of a wasted journey for Kermit seeing as he has no teeth!!
KFC for lunch - nom nom.
Kermit decided he likes fizzy drinks!
At Aberdeen train station ready to board the train home.
Watching the scenery fly past on the return train journey.
Playing with Callum.
A cuppa out in the garden in the sunshine.
And time to peruse the purchases from Mummy's favourite shop!

Today we have a birthday in the house - Sam is 15 - I have been allowed to take a couple of photos of him but had to promise not to put them on my blog or on Facebook (although it is fine for his friends to put photos of him on their Facebook pages - but not his mother!!!)
So today Kermit has play Call of Duty on the X Box.
Tried out Sam's new wireless headset.
Found the birthday boys box of Maltesters.
And tried a new taste sensation for the first time.
And rounded the day off with a slice of birthday cake.
(I might be back tomorrow with photos of the very grumpy teenager - and hope that he doesn't read my blog!)

168/365+1 Same ... But Different # 2
Today Kermit went back to school.
Callum had football training this morning at school so Kermit came along from the ride. He sat on the wall outside school where I have stood for the last 10 years waiting for one or other of the boys to emerge at the end of the day.
He made friends with the litter bin in the playground (a long lost cousin maybe??)
Surveyed the playground from the spot where all the children drop off their bags in the morning.
And tried (and failed!) to be quiet.
