What did I think?

This is the 6th book in the Blossomwood Bay series. Have I read them all?? To be truthful I am not sure - I will need to investigate further.

I have never visited Paris - although I would love to. Felt quite fitting to be reading this book so close to the start of the Olympics being set in the beautiful city. I absolutely love watching the Olympics - do you?

I found this to be a delightful romantic read - set in one of the most romantic cities in the works. All the patisserie references made my mouth water. I am rather partial to pastries it has to be said.

Looking forward to the next book in the series.

What did I think?

This is the second book in the Blossomwood Bay series.  I thoroughly enjoyed escaping to the French Riviera whilst reading this one - I haven't been to that region in France but the descriptions really brought it alive - I could almost smell the lavender.

This was a delightful rom com - it had romance and drama with a dash of mystery thrown in for good measure. Once I started reading I didn't want to put it down.

This can be read as a standalone title - but why not start at the beginning with Tilly's Tuscan Teashop - another gem of a read.

What did I think?

First up - what a gorgeous, appealing cover. Those colours really called out to me.

Then I discovered this was the first in a brand new series by Daisy - called The Blossomwood Bay series.

Then I discovered it was set in Italy - somewhere I have always wanted to visit. The setting is gorgeous and the descriptions Daisy uses really brings the location to life. 

This is a bright, funny and heart warming story. Tilly is a really likeable character and I cannot wait to see where her new life takes her. 

And don't get me started on the food descriptions - I kept feeling hungry whilst I was reading.

There is so much to enjoy in this book and I cannot wait till the next installment.

What did I think?

Another cracking instalment of the Hummingbird Hotel series.  But sadly I have read that it is the final one of the series.

These are great heart warming reads - and a fabulous retreat from reality if that is what you need. I love her writing style and loved how all the characters were woven into this storyline. and no loose ends were left undone which was satisfying.

The setting as usual was spot on. Definitely transported me to Corfu - an island which I would love to visit.

I'm hoping Daisy will come up with an equally enthralling series for us next. Fingers crossed.

What did I think?

Firstly I must say that this is book 4 in the Hummingbird Hotel series. I haven't read all of the books in the series but can say that it doesn't matter if you haven't either as it works well as a standalone title. saying that I will be going back to read the books that I have missed.

Now I have never been to Corfu but the writing and the descriptions make me want to visit - could do with a spot of sunshine - but for now virtual sunshine will have to do.

This story has it all - a glorious location, lots of food and descriptions of food, humour and a spot of mystery. It is the perfect book to read if you are after some escapism. But how I wish I was sitting by a pool reading this instead of in front of my woodburner whilst yet another Scottish storm seems to be battering us.
