What did I think?

A gorgeous cover and title - both set the scene for this delightful story.

This book is the third in a series but if you haven't read the earlier two books I don't think it is an issue as this book works well as a standalone title.

What stood out for me is the village community - everyone looks out for everyone else - I would love to live somewhere just like this.

This is a sweet story - one of community and of friendships - with everyone pulling together to save Strawberry Hill Farm. A fantastic cast of characters. A strong family. An outsider. A great read.

What did I think?

I always look forward to starting a new book - especially when it is the first book in a brand new series.

Even though this is the start of a new series there are some familiar faces from some of this authors previous titles. And it is set in a neighbouring village.

I loved Harriet and the beautiful lavender fields. Along with the local community she is trying to save these lavender fields from being replaced with industrial units. The fields were her uncles pride and joy. And the local community get right behind her. Of course there has to be  bad guy just to spice things up a bit!!

I found this an entertaining read and a promising start to the series.

What did I think?

This is the 4th book in the Riverside Lane series and I was really looking forward to catching up with the goings on and the characters from the earlier books.

I loved being back in Cranbridge and really enjoyed Molly and Logans story. Once I started reading I didn't want to put it down. Plenty of other characters make a reappearance and I enjoyed the wedding preparations for Amber and Josh.

As in the previos books in the series the characters are sweet and the location is idyllic. Throw in a spot of romance and you have the perfect escapism read.

What did I think?

Never too early for a festive read in my humble opinion.

This is the 3rd book in the Riverside Lane series - but if you haven't read the earlier 2 boks then don't worry as it works just as well as a standalone title. But the same characters do run throughout all 3 books so it might be worth starting with book 1 - you won't be disappointed.

This is such a cosy read - snuggled on the sofa with a hot drink - a perfect way to while away a few hours. It will leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling when you have finished.

This is the 4th book in the Willow Tree Hall series - and the final one I am led to believe. Now (hang head in shame) I haven't read the first 3 books but this one reads well as a standalone title. I will be making amends by going back to read the earlier books.

I think it was the setting that really drew me into the story - reminded me of Wickham Hall by Cathy Bramley in places - and I love her books.

This books makes for a perfect relaxing read - either at home or on the beach on holiday. A great cast of characters, a perfect setting and a great book to lose yourself in. I will certainly be reading more by this author.
