Skywatch Friday

It was a gorgeous day on Sunday and we headed down to Grantown on Spey for a walk through Anagach Woods. It is a breeding ground for Capercaillie and we did keep our eyes peeled but didn't manage to see any - although we are sure we heard one.

We walked through the woods - where there were a couple of the only outdoor curling lakes left in Scotland.

Out over views towards Cromdale and the hills beyond - with some snow on the tops

And then the last part of our walk was along the banks of the River Spey.

Pop over to the Skywatch blog to see more skies from around the world.

That first shot is so beautiful. First thought that popped into my head... "follow the yellow brick road!"
