Totally unputdownable, absolutely full of laugh-out-loud ‘I’ve so done that’ moments, and plenty of emotional twists and turns that will keep you refilling your wine and racing through to the end. The perfect romantic comedy for fans of Shari Low and Sophie Kinsella.
What did I think?
I do enjoy a good romantic comedy - and this was a good one.
This book is a departure from her usual thriller, edge of your seat books she usually writes. I did wonder if breaking with what works was a good idea. It was.
The main characters are as far removed from Kim Stone as you could get. They are three good friends having a great time - but who want more out of life. The find an old spell book and have a go at casting their own spell. Word of warning - be careful what you wish for!
This book is very light hearted - perfect as a beach read or just to curl up in a chair with to escape reality for a short while.
This book was an unexpected gem of a read.
