Skywatch Friday

Saturday saw another day out walking - before long we will be fully paid up members of The Rambles!!

This time it was Ben Aigen. Not such a climb this time as it is a 1000 feet lower but it was a much longer walk at 11 miles - and boy I felt some of those miles!!

Quite a nice day at the bottom - but as you can see the mist had rolled in by the time we reached the top which was a shame. the wind turbines looked spooky as they emerged from the gloom. But we enjoyed a flask of coffee and my home made Welsh Cakes before making our way down (part of it along a downhill mountain bike track - poised to leap out of the way should anyone come hurtling down behind us.) We made it back to the car park just before the rain - so it was a good day.

Pop over to the Skywatch blog to see more skies from around the world.

I used to love fell walking. Unfortunately I can't do it now.
