The sun has been shining so over the weekend I have been out in the garden, sun hat on, in my deckchair reading.
I finished An Enormously English Monsoon Wedding by Chrstine Jones which was so good - made me laugh and cry.
I am now onto With All My Love by Patricia Scanlan. I like this author and I do enjoy a good story set in Ireland. I was a bit confused by all the characters at first but it is now all starting to fall into place.
On a crystal clear Mediterranean day, Briony McAllister sits playing with her four-year-old daughter, Katie, while she waits for her mother, Valerie, to join them. Oh I like Patricia Scanlan too and have read a good few of hers but not that one so do let me know what you think of it! I've just finished a Carole Matthews book over the weekend so just started on a Sophie Kinsella one on my kindle! x
