But just to show we did eventually get some sunshine this far north - and even though we don't have a pier - our beach was almost deserted. it was very peaceful to sit and enjoy the view when the only noise was the sound of the seagulls.

Finally
I was getting a bit cheesed off hearing about the gorgeous weather down south all weekend when all we had was rain, rain and more rain - especially when my brother said he was off to Brighton for the day to walk along the seafront and go on the pier (him and 299,999 other day trippers!)
But just to show we did eventually get some sunshine this far north - and even though we don't have a pier - our beach was almost deserted. it was very peaceful to sit and enjoy the view when the only noise was the sound of the seagulls.

Living down south myself it has been nice to enjoy some belated sunshine but it does seem wrong being in your shorts in October!!
