Loving my new phone - especially the Instagram app. Here is a shot of the Caledonian Canal taken from the middle of the lock. Beautiful blue skies - but it didn't stay like that for long!
We had to pop over to Inverness for a bit of proper shopping (and a trip to Sainsburys on the way back) as the shops in Elgin aren't up to much. We tried to walk part of the canal previously but were beated by the weather.
And in his brand new Paramo jacket - which wasn't on our shopping list!
We watched assorted craft go by.
Quite fancied this waterfront residence.
Plenty of boats moored up at Dochgarroch Locks.
Met these chaps on the banks of the canal.

Nice series of shots. All my shots on my skwatch post were also taken with my cell phone.
How fun it would be to coast along on Scotland's canals! Fun also to sit in that lovely house and watch the various watercraft - and ducks - drift past! :-)
