What did I think?

I ended up listening to this book on audio - mainly whilst I was in the car. The narration was spot on. I do find a narrator can make or break an audio book - the wrong one can have me switching off in minutes.

Loved this slightly dark and twisty story. On the surface Rachel and Tom have it all. But behind the closed doors in their swanky new house.....

Have to say this was a rollercoaster of a read. Several times I found myself gasping out loud. More twists than a twisty thing. Did you see the ending coming?? As I certainly didn't.

A fab story that kept me on tenderhooks from the start. What happened to Rachel previously. What was Tom hiding. So many questions.......

What did I think.

Having a wee break from the festive titles with this cracker of a book.

I do love a domestic thriller - where everyone seems to be harbouring secrets. It makes for a fast paced and addictive reading - and this book had me gripped from the opening chapters.

I'm not going to be given any spoilers about the plot - the blurb should be enough to make you want to read this title. The story is far from straight forward - plenty of twists and turns to throw you off the scent. I am useless a second guessing plot twists - and I didn't see the ending coming.

Superb writing and one not to be missed.

What did I think?

You always know you are in for a treat with a Sue Watson book - and this one was no exception. She has fast become one of those authors whose books I will pick up without knowing anything about them.

This was a book filled with action - twists and turns galore. Just when you think you have worked out what is going on you are thrown another curveball. Certainly kept my interest right till the last page.

I do enjoy a domestic thriller and this was a great one. Packed full of suspense and an enjoyable read. No plot spoilers from me - you need to get yourself a copy and see for yourself.

What did I think?

Love a mystery and love a Sue Watson book. Was really looking forward to reading this one.

I found this a captivating read - a single Mum bringing up her daughter turned into a rollercoaster of a read with plenty of twists and turns. Things are not as they seem. Now I am the first to admit that I'm useless at second guessing plot twists and endings so I didn't see the ending coming. I do like a surprise.

This book kept me hooked from start to finish. Highly recommended.

What did I think?

I love Sue's books so was really looking forward to her new release.

I don't think I have ever been to Burgh Island but the writing certainly transported me there. Really enjoyed this tense thriller and I didn't want to put it down. Always a sign of a good book.

I don't want to give any of the plot away.  I certainly couldn't double guess the ending. Anyone of the characters had both the motive and opportunity to commit the crimes.  Needless to say this book was packed full of tension. The island location certainly added to the drama.  

Highly recommended.

What did I think?

I love Sue's books and I ended uo listening to this one on audio whilst I was out walking - kept me entertained as I plodded along.

This boko kept me guessing - at first the family set up seemed so perfect - son marrying his childhood sweetheart etc. First grains of suspicion for me started when I found out the were living so close to Dartmoor Prison - spooky!!

I really enjoyed the psychological who done it - loved the suspicion, the accusations and trying to work out who was responsible. Kept me interested right till the end of the book.

I have to say the narration on the audio book was excellent - really brought the story alive for me.
